Staff members at Cox South gathered Monday afternoon to celebrate our latest recognition: the Healthgrades 2015 Distinguished Hospital Clinical Excellence Award.
The award recognizes Cox South for outstanding clinical performance in the top 5 percent in the nation, based on outcomes, complication rates and mortality rates.
Hospital and system leaders, including CEO Steve Edwards, Chief Hospital Officer Ron Prenger, System Chief Nursing Officer Karen Kramer and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Frank Romero spoke to the crowed and offered their congratulations for a job well done.
